EVENTS – From May 25 to May 30, 2014 – For the first time in the history of Special Olympics Italy, the most popular sports program for people with intellectual disabilities in the world, the beautiful lagoon in Venice will to receive the first stage of the XXX National Summer Games. The 5 sports officials are hosted basketball, tennis, swimming, boating and horseback riding, but also provided opportunities experimental Golf and swimming in open water.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for May 26 in St. Mark’s Square and the closing ceremony on May 29 at Cavallino-Treporti at the Camping Marina of Venice.
