The coast of Cavallino is a vast expanse of sand that stretches for 15 kilometers from the lighthouse of Cavallino (adjacent to the river Sile) to the lighthouse at Punta Sabbioni (adjacent to the mouth of the port of Venice-Lido). The beach is really nice with a scenario still natural and is certified each year with the recognition of the “Blue Flag Beaches”. Behind the beach lie the sandy dunes and the large pine forest consists of pines and many other species. The whole area of the pine forest is a protected area subject to forest management and environmental care of the regional service. The access to the beach are numbered. Some access are with well-defined paths, others like trails through the forest, some passable only on foot or by bicycle.
In this suggestion there is a description of some of the most beautiful access to the sea and especially some advice on how to achieve and by what means. Where is indicated only “beach” you will not find beach facilities (sunbeds, umbrellas, changing cabins) and you can place your umbrellas and/or other things respecting the lido area lies within 5 meters from the shoreline. On the beaches of Cavallino is not always allowed access to pet animals. Four areas dedicated to the access of pets have been prearranged along the coast of Cavallino starting from 4 July 2016 (click here).
