From Trieste, take the A4 motorway towards Venice. Exit at San Dona di Piave/Noventa di Piave and follow the signs for Jesolo and then for Cavallino Treporti. From the Brenner Pass (Germany, Holland, Denmark, Great Britain, and Belgium), take the A22 to Verona. At the A4 Torino-Trieste feeder, continue in the direction of Trieste, exit at A4/A57 Venezia Ovest. Take the Mestre bypass and exit at the A27 Mestre-Belluno feeder towards Aeroporto/Spiagge (Airport/Beaches). Alternatively, after taking the Mestre bypass, take the Mestre link road, continuing in the direction of Trieste and exit at San Dona di Piave/Noventa di Piave. Follow the signs for Jesolo and then for Cavallino Treporti. From Turin and Milan, take the A4 Torino-Trieste motorway towards Trieste; exit at A4/A57 Venezia Ovest and proceed as indicated above. From Bologna, take the A13 Bologna-Padova towards Padua; at the feeder to the A4 motorway, take the A4/A57 for Trieste and exit at Venezia Ovest. Continue as above.
Arriving by plane:
From Venice-Tessera Airport, Cavallino Treporti can be reached by sea using the Alilaguna service, which connects the airport to the Venice Lido (Santa Maria Elisabetta). Change at the Venice Lido and take the ACTV boat that goes from the Lido to Punta Sabbioni, one of Cavallino Treporti’s districts. At the Punta Sabbioni terminal, there are ATVO buses and taxis (Taxi Terrestri Punta Sabbioni Phone +39-041-530-0503). From Venice-Tessera’sMarco Polo– and Treviso’s Antonio Canova-Sant’Angelo airports, Cavallino Treporti can be reached using the ATVO bus service ( http://www.atvo.it/index.php?lang=en ) or by taxi (Service Water Taxi Venice Airport, Tel +39 041 5415084; Taxi Venice Mestre, +39 041 5964, and Taxi Treviso, +39 0422 431 515).
Arriving by train:
From Venice Mestre, take the local train to San Donà-Jesolo (journey time, 22 or 32 minutes). At the San Dona di Piave train station, take the ATVO bus to Jesolo Lido (journey time, approximately 35 minutes). At the Jesolo bus station, take the bus to Punta Sabbioni with various stops in Cavallino Treporti. A taxi can be called at the San Dona di Piave train station (Via Giovanni Baron, 1 – phone number +39 0421 54690)
